Strategic Planning Process Results 2018

As an outcome of the 2017 annual meeting, the OVS board launched a formal initiative to better understand the needs of our Keilah.

In June 2018, with the formation of the “FOVS Committee” and the engagement of Michele Levin, an organizational development consultant specializing in faith-based, non-profit organizations, the research and strategic planning process began.

Comprehensive quantitative and qualitative data was collected through survey, interview and town hall
meeting methods. Analyzation of the results reveals three primary themes for OVS to target for
strategic planning:
• Community
• Leadership
• Religious

Building on these themes and in consideration of the data, the FOVS Committee presents three corresponding Strategic Maps detailing specific objectives and action items including responsibility and general timeline.
• Short Term: 0-6 mos
• Mid-Term: 7-18 mos
• Long Term: 19-36 mos
