Building Blocks Sunday School
Building Blocks Sunday School at Congregation Or VeShalom is for children ages 2 - 12. Areas of focus include prayer, Jewish holidays, Jewish values, modern Hebrew, Hebrew reading, Israel, and Sephardic Jewish culture.
Hebrew Club
Hebrew Club is a Hebrew-only immersive experience designed especially for children. The program is suitable both for Hebrew speakers and for beginners who want to strengthen their Hebrew skills. Adult Hebrew 1
Learn to read Hebrew with Education Director Chana Mayer. Each participant will receive an informal evaluation with Chana by phone. Class will begin at a level appropriate for group. Adult Education – Out of the Ruins: Jewish Wisdom on Resilience
This series will address the different shapes resilience takes and how we can cultivate our own capacity for resilience. Judaism: Back to Basics
This year-long class started in January 2025. Topics include Jewish History, Jewish Holidays, Jewish Philosophy/Law, Daily Jewish Living and Lifecycle Events. Registration is ongoing.
