Mitzvot Celebration
Join us for our Annual Mitzvot Celebration to kick off the High Holiday season at OVS! The celebration will include Chef Alex’s famous Keftes Dinner, live music, special door prizes and more.

Yizkor Book
It is our custom to recall relatives no longer with us during Yizkor Services on Yom Kippur. Our yearly Memorial Remembrance Book will include the names of your loved ones along with prayers, meditations and reflections to make services more meaningful.
- Submit their names online at ovs.shulcloud.com/form/yizkor2026 or complete and return a printed form to the OVS office by Monday, August 3, 2026.
- Please list ONLY the names of immediate family members: deceased grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, or child (in first name, last name format).
- Indicate the amount of your donation in the space provided, and enclose your check. We hope you’ll consider donating $36 for the first name and $18 for each additional name. The sages comment that the world stands on three foundations – Torah, Worship and Good Deeds, especially Charity. Please consider remembering your loved ones with a contribution to our Keilah.
- Return form no later than Monday, August 3, 2026. It is important that you complete this form each year so your relatives are entered on the 2026/5787 Yizkor List.
- Names from prior years are NOT automatically listed.
