Building Blocks Sunday School
Building Blocks Sunday School at Congregation Or VeShalom is for children ages 2 - 12. Areas of focus include prayer, Jewish holidays, Jewish values, modern Hebrew, Hebrew reading, Israel, and Sephardic Jewish culture.
Social Action Sundays
Join us on Sunday, November 16 at Breman Jewish Home and Sunday, November 23 at Berman Commons to do a Mitzvah. Spend time with Jewish Home Life residents and enjoy a taste of OVS and play bingo. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. RSVP Requested. CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP.
Adult Hebrew 1
Learn to read Hebrew with Education Director Chana Mayer. Each participant will receive an informal evaluation with Chana by phone. Class will begin at a level appropriate for group. This year-long class started in January 2025. Topics include Jewish History, Jewish Holidays, Jewish Philosophy/Law, Daily Jewish Living and Lifecycle Events. Registration is ongoing.
