Infertility
The first command God gave to humanity was פרו ורבו, be fruitful and multiply (בראשית א:כ”ח).
For some couples, their dreams of building a family are stymied by fertility issues. While infertility is a subject that has become more publicly discussed, it can still leave couples feeling isolated as they struggle to become parents. They are likely to experience a full spectrum of emotions, most notably that of grief.
Rabbi Hearshen has a great deal of experience counseling congregants. There are so many choices and decisions to be made when trying to build a family, and his wise counsel will help you feel fully supported as you make decisions regarding assisted reproductive technology (ART), adoption, or the option to not pursue having children.
