Yizkor Book 5780/2019
Yizkor Book 5780/2019
Dear Member:
As you know it is our custom to recall the names of deceased relatives of our members during Yizkor Services on Yom Kippur. We will once again be publishing a Memorial Remembrance Book to be used during Yizkor services. We will continue to use the format of publishing a list of those of blessed memory under the donor(s) name.
We hope that you will enjoy the book as it will not only include the names of your deceased loved ones, but it will also include new and traditional prayers, meditations and reflections for us to help make the services more meaningful.
In order to have all the names included, please complete and return this online form by Monday, August 5, 2019.
- Complete the form below, indicating the names of the deceased (last name, first name). Please indicate ONLY the names of immediate family members: deceased grandparent, parent, spouse, sibling, or child.
- Indicate the amount of your donation in the space provided, and please pay at the end of the online form. We hope that you will consider donating $26 for the first name and $18 for each additional name. The sages comment that the world stands on three foundations – Torah, Worship and Good Deeds, especially Charity. Please consider remembering your loved ones with a contribution to our Keilah.
- Since the High Holydays are known as a time of prayer, repentance and charity, those who do not have deceased family members – may G-d spare them for many years in good health – please consider a donation honoring your family, friends, or our congregation.
Please remember - In order to have all the names included on the printed list, this form must reach us no later than Monday, August 5, 2019. It is important that you complete this form each year so that they are entered on the 2019/5780 Yizkor List. Names from prior years are not automatically listed.
Best wishes for an happy & healthy New Year 5780!
