L’shana Tova!

I hope that everyone has their plans in place for the holidays - and that those places include joining us for Rosh Hashanah services!

I always enjoy seeing the large turnout on Rosh Hashanah, and hope that this year is no different. We have so many wonderful plans in store: Chazan Rabbi Avraham Sultan will be joining Rabbi Kassorla in leading the services, the children’s service will be offering a new curriculum, new language has been incorporated for the English prayers, and we are offering a “free, fast & fun” service. For more information, please see your High Holiday packet or the OVS website.

All members should have received their High Holiday packet; if you have not yet received this mailing, contact the office ASAP. Visitor and Guest tickets are also still available.

If children will be accompanying you to Rosh Hashanah services, please sign them up for the children’s program. This will help ensure that we have enough snack and materials for all participants.
The programs will serve children 3-and-under, and children 7-and-under.

We are still looking for members who have space at their holiday table for one more. If you are hosting a holiday meal, and would like to invite a member who is alone for the holiday, please contact the office.

Finally, please join us for Selichot and breakfast at 7:30am Erev Rosh Hashanah (Sunday).

Shabbat Shalom and Tizku l’Shanim Rabot!
