Michael Bouhadana

As some of you may have heard, I was presented with an award at the Jewish Abilities Alliance “Power of One” event, this past Sunday. While it is a tremendous honor to be recognized, I feel that I should be recognizing others, and drawing attention to the work they do to promote inclusion and acceptance in our OVS community.

I am regularly in awe of the effort that Rabbi Kassorla makes to help everyone feel included and able to participate in our religious services. If anyone ever feels like they want to better read or comprehend - or even lead - prayers, Rabbi Kassorla will provide the resources to make that desire a reality.

I am also greatly inspired by Josiah Benator, who (at 97 years young) has spent decades working with Troup 73, helping boys of various ages and abilities to acquire important skills, and give back to the community.

On this Scout Shabbat, please join me in recognizing those who give their time to make others feel included and valued in both our OVS community, and the Atlanta community at large.

Shabbat Shalom,

Michael
