Michael Bouhadana

We hope everyone enjoyed a fulfilling Passover Seder with family and friends. Congregation Or VeShalom hosted a well-attended community Seder on the second night, led by our Rabbi Kassorla. If you missed it this year, please make plans to attend next year. Rabbi Kassorla always does a wonderful job leading the Seder. According to Rabbi, we had more than 10 countries represented, and at the end of the evening, attendees were singing their respective national anthem. We have a large diversity of nationalities and Sephardi traditions in our congregation - which makes Or VeShalom such a unique synagogue and so special in the Atlanta community. I want to thank Dr. Albert Barrocas for preparing a YouTube link to educate Or VeShalom members in the Ladino version of the famous Passover song, "Who Knows One?" Thank you so much for taking the initiative to teach.
Looking ahead, please check in our e-blast for the calendar of services. Services for the Seventh day of Passover begins this Friday at 8:45AM. Saturday night, a few of us will be celebrating the end of Passover in the Sephardic tradition of Mimouna, very popular today in Israel. Jews participate from both the Ashkenazi and Sephardi tradition.
Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to everyone giving me feedback on your experiences at Or VeShalom. One of our members, recently in Israel, wrote to me that he placed a slip of paper at the Western Wall with a prayer for Or VeShalom to continue as a great and prosperous synagogue. Thank you!
Please continue providing me  with feedbackon your synagogue experience. Here's the link.
Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach,
